The National Monuments Service's description
On the E side of a field boundary and separated from it by a drainage ditch. Listed in the SMR (1989) and RMP (1995) as 'Sweathouse, possible'. There is no sweathouse at this location but there is a well, set into a semicircular area cut from the W side of a low rise. The opening is stone-lined (0.7m x 0.5m; D 0.6m). The sweat house (SL027-157001-) is c. 50m to WSW.
