The National Monuments Service's description
In the NW quadrant of a rath (SL025-011----). A small oval feature (8.5m NE-SW; 6.5m NW-SE) defined by a ruinous wall (Wth 0.5m), consisting of loose stones barely protruding above the ground. Roughly in the centre of the ring of stones is a shallow hollow (Wth c. 2m) and a few metres S of the ring of stones there are traces of a ruinous wall curving in a shallow arc towards the enclosing scarp of the rath at SW.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
