The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a low ridge. The inner end of a court at the E opens into the remains of a gallery (L 4.4m; Wth c. 1.7m). Three courtstones flank the S side of the gallery entrance and one the N side. Wood-Martin (1887-8, 295-6; 1888, 203-4) noted four extra stones at the N which would suggest that there may have been a full court here. Two stones remain of the N side of the gallery and three of the S side. The inner ends of both sides are missing but the backstone survives. There is no indication of segmentation in the gallery. Beyond the backstone and more or less in line with the N side of the gallery there is a thin, low stone on edge. Its function is unclear. (Ó Nualláin 1989, 51-2, no. 80).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
