The National Monuments Service's description
On sloping pasture about 400m N of the steep slopes of Slieveward with an outlook across Ballysadare Bay. The tomb is in an oval mound (9.7m NE-SW; max. 6m NW-SE). A NE-facing gallery (L 7m; max. Wth 2.5m) is divided by jambs into two chambers. Only the more northerly entrance jamb survives and there is are no remnants of the court. Four sidestones remain of the more northerly side of the gallery and three of the opposite side and it is closed by a large backstone. (Ó Nualláin 1989, 50, no. 77)
