The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying ground, projecting to NW into Ballysadare Bay. A section of a disused gently curving earthen field boundary (L 56m; Wth 3.6m; H c. 0.2m), c. 18m of which is on a NE-SW axis with the remaining 38m extending to SE from the NE end. This field boundary is overlain by faint traces of cultivation ridges (Wth 0.8m; H 0.1m), c. 0.3m apart.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
