In wet pasture, located in soft boggy ground adjacent to a NE-SW stream/drain on the W side of a flat-bottomed valley. One of several fulachtaí fia and burnt mounds which occur over a distance of 1.5km along the base of the valley. A small mound (diam. c.5m; H 0.4m) which appears to be composed of burnt stone, and may not be in situ. The mound may relate to a layer (L c. 3m; D 0.5m) of burnt stone and charcoal visible in section in both section faces of the drain (Wth 1.2m), which is located c. 4m to SSE of the mound. The layer occurs at a depth of c.0.4m beneath the sod. There is a fulacht fia (SL019-248----) 8m to W, and a burnt mound (SL019-250----) 5m to E.
