The National Monuments Service's description
Situated a short distance N of Skreen Church of Ireland and in proximity to the Early Christian and later medieval ecclesiastical remains (see SL019-006---, SL019-007---- and SL019-008----). This midden formed part of a habitation site (SL019-005001-) (NMI Topographical File 1962; Lucas 1964, 98).
