The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture, located against the external face of the S wall of a graveyard (SL019-007002-), at the foot of the N slope of a large hill, named Red hill on the 1913 OS 6-inch map. Rectangular area (11m N–S; 6m E–W) defined on the S, W and N sides by a sod-covered stone bank, and on the E side by the graveyard wall. The stone bank (Wth 1.4m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.4-0.6m) is well defined. It is most substantial (ext. H 0.9m) at the SE corner where there is a natural dip in exterior ground level. There is a low area or slight slump mid-way along the S side, and narrow, eroded breaks between the terminals of the E and W walls and the graveyard wall. There is no trace of a continuation of the enclosure on the N side of the graveyard wall, within the confines of the graveyard, where much of the ground surface is obscured by 19th-century tombs and graves. A relict field boundary (Wth 1.2m), part of a field system (SL019-008005-) lies 3m to SE of the SE corner of the enclosure, appearing to skirt around it and continue to E. There is a possible hut site (SL019-008007-) c. 30m to NE.
