The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the edge of a terrace on the W-facing slope of a roughly NE-SW ridge in pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 25m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.1m) with a largely infilled external fosse (Wth 3.5m; max. D 0.4m). A break in the bank (Wth 3m) at E represents the original entrance. Close to the inner face of the bank at S is a hollow (dims. 6m x 5m; D 0.6m). Within the E quadrant of the interior a large slab protrudes at ground level.
