The National Monuments Service's description

In the interior of a cashel (SL015-059001-). Not indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Recorded by Milligan (1890-1, 579) on the E side of the cashel as a 'stone like font with a basin cavity: it is 2 feet 10 inches [0.86m] high, and about 2 feet [0.6m] square on its upper surface, which is flat; the basin is about 5 inches deep [0.13m] and 11 inches [0.28m]in diameter.' No visible surface trace.
