The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in gently undulating pasture within the demesne of Hazelwood House c.1.5m SSW. Depicted as a small, circular enclosure on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map. On the 1912 edition six trees are shown which form a rough circle (diam. c.27m). This monument has been levelled with no visible surface trace at ground level. In all probability it was a tree-ring.
