The National Monuments Service's description

A souterrain recorded within a cashel (SL014-225001-) by Wood-Martin (1887-8, 121) and Milligan (1890-1, 577-8) was no longer recognisable in 1994 (SMR (1989) file). The cashel has become very overgrown with scrub in the intervening period and no traces of this potential monument was identified.
