The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on top of a NE-SW ridge, close to the edge on the W side where the ground falls away steeply. Described by Ó Nualláin (1989, 95, no. 4) as a 'mound, 8m E-W by 4.50m N-S by 1m high, overgrown and used as a dump for field stones. Within this at NW is a stone 4.15m by 1.50m by 1m high which does not seem to be in situ.'
