The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in level wet pasture. Slightly raised roughly circular area (diam. c.12m) enclosed by a bank of earth (Wth 1.6m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.1m). At the external base of the bank is a fosse (Wth 1.5m). From N-SE and S-SW the bank is absent and the site is defined by an irregular scarp (ext. H 0.6m). The site has been truncated SW-NW by a N-S orientated field drain and the fosse is absent. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior of the site is densely overgrown and inaccessible.
