The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying level wet area planted with coniferous trees. Marked on the 1836-7 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a large oval-shaped enclosure but depicted on the 1940-1 edition as a small, roughly circular area (diam. c.15m). This monument is inaccessible due to dense overgrowth.
