The National Monuments Service's description

At a holy well (SL005-004001-), located on top of a penitential station or cairn (SL005-004003-). This bullaun stone consists of a roughly square boulder (0.4m by 0.37m; H 0.3m) with a central, oval depression (0.23m by 0.18m; D 0.1m) in its upper surface. The depression is straight sided with a flat base. A fragment of mortar adhering to one side of the stone suggests that it may once have been affixed to a wall. A church and graveyard (SL005-005001-; SL005-005002-) are located c. 100m to ENE.
