The National Monuments Service's description
On a level terrace located on the N side of a NE-SW orientated ridge, in pasture. The cashel consists of a slightly raised roughly circular area (diam. 22m) enclosed by a stone bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 1.1m) of random limestone rubble. There is no fosse visible at ground level. From W-NE, the bank is absent on the N side of a NE-SW orientated drystone field wall that crosses the site. Where the bank is absent, the limit of the cashel is visible as a darker band of grass (Wth 3m). The original entrance is not recognisable.
