The National Monuments Service's description
On level ground in gently undulating pasture. Depicted on the 1837 edition of the OS 6'' map as a circular enclosure (diam. c.15m). The cashel has been removed and the area now appears as a roughly rectangular field (30m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE). Some larger rubble stones, presumably derived from the cashel walls, are incorporated into the NW boundary of the field.
