The National Monuments Service's description
On a ridge at the base of a steep cliff in rough, boggy pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 22m N-S) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone bank (Wth. 1.1m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.45m). No fosse. On the S side the outer bank has been strengthened by a series of stones forming a retaining structure. Original entrance not recognisable. Immediately inside the bank at SE is a possible souterrain (SL002-021002-).
