The National Monuments Service's description

On a cliff-edge, located 2m S of an enclosure (SL001-007006-), which incorporates a hermitage (SL001-007001-), and a leacht ((SL001-007002-).
This small complex of monuments, in danger of collapse at the eroding cliff edge, was fully excavated (licence: 97E0256) in 1997 in advance of its reconstruction by the OPW on its current location at a safe distance from the cliff-edge (O’Sullivan and Ó Carragáin 2008, 216-239).
This monument, possibly a collapsed leacht, took the form of a small cairn (max. dim. c. 3m; H 0.6m) composed largely of rounded stones, with a roughly laid kerb of larger stones at its base. The excavation did not provide sufficient evidence to determine its exact function, date or relationship to the adjacent monuments (ibid, 176, 226-7).
