The National Monuments Service's description

On a low-lying landscape in the valley of the upper Cross river, c. 110m SW of rath (RO048-007001-). D-shaped scatter of broken and burnt stones in a black matrix (dims 16m NW-SE; 5m NE-SW) visible in a ploughed field, and cut by a WNW-ESE field drain at SW. A portion of the grass-covered mound (dims 10.5m NW-SE; 2m NE-SW; H 0.6m) survives SW of the field drain. Some flints, including a flint javelin head, had been found nearby. Burnt mound (RO048-181001-) is c. 40m to the NW, and the burnt mound (RO048-181003-) is c. 10m to the E.
