Marked as a laneway (L c. 900m) on the 1837 ed. Of the OS 6-inch map, and rising from the S up a S-facing slope to a point where the wayside cross (RO048-117----) is situated just to its W and the road begins to descend to the N. From the S to where the cross is situated the road is a country lane (Wth 2m) with grass margins (Wth 1.6m) bordered by drystone walls. N of the cross it is a grass-covered area (Wth 9m; L c. 100m) bordered by a drystone wall and townland boundary with Skeavally at E and the grass-covered remnants of a wall (Wth 0.5m; H 0.5m) at W. It ends abruptly at the E-W townland boundary and drystone wall with Cuilleenoolagh (RO048-098----) at N.
