The National Monuments Service's description
On a SE-facing slope, c. 80m WNW of fortified house (RO048-119001-) and overlooking it. It is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP: BDO 35, 36) from the 1970s. This is a rectangular platform (dims of top 19m NE-SW; 14m NW-SE; H c. 2m) with stone facing on all sides except the NW where there is a fosse. Its NW and SE edges were overlain by stone banks. It may have been a gun-platform, but it has been removed since 1995.
