The National Monuments Service's description

In the S interior of rath (RO048-088001-). This is a rectangular masonry structure (ext. dims 18.6m WNW-ESE; 6.3m NNE-SSW), of which the N and S walls survive (Wth 0.6m; H 1.4m) with two slit windows on each wall and an entrance towards W end of the N wall. The E and W walls are reduced to the foundations. It is locally regarded as a penal church.
