The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 37.5m ENE-WSW; 34m NNW-SSE) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 5.5-6.5m; int. H 0.45-0.65m; ext. H 1.2-1.4m) and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6-7m; Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.3-0.5m), which does not survive N-SE. A stone-lined entrance (Wth 2.2m) and causeway (Wth 4.5m) are at S. Grass-covered field walls approach the site from WSW, WNW, NNE and E while a more substantial grass-covered field wall crosses the site NE-SW. There are lazy-beds relating to this wall in the interior, and burials (RO047-057002-) have been found there (NMI topographical file).
