The National Monuments Service's description
In a gently undulating landscape. Oval grass-covered but poached area with some bushes (dims 35m NW-SE; 29m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.7-5m; int. H 0.45-0.55m; ext. H 0.8-1.1m) reduced to a scarp ESE-S, with slight traces of a fosse (Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 2m) NW-E. There is no identifiable original entrance but an old field bank runs from the perimeter at WNW to the centre, and the monument is overlain by a NE-SW farm track. Wayside cross (RO047-026----) is c. 150m to the S, and moated site (RO047-028----) is c. 200m to the SE.
