Towards the top of a NW-facing slope overlooking Lough Funshinagh, a large turlough c. 600m to the W. Circular grass-covered area with some bushes (diam. 35.3m WNW-ESE; 35.1m NNE-SSW) defined by an overgrown and partly poached earthen bank (Wth 5.5-6.8m; int. H 0.3-1m; ext. H 1.5-1.55m) and an outer fosse (Wth of top 6-7.4m; Wth of base 1.5-2.5m; D 0.25-1.05m) which has been backfilled SE-SSW and which is circumscribed by a field wall SSW-NNW. There is an entrance (Wth 1.8m) at SSE.
