The National Monuments Service's description

In a broad, low-lying basin. Circular grass-covered mound (diam. of base 15m NW-SE; diam. of top 5.7m NW-SE; H 4.1-4.3m) with some bushes, which has a berm (Wth 2.4m) at its base at SE. The mound is separated by a wet, rush-covered fosse (Wth of base 7m at SE to 11.6m at NW; ext. D 1.4-1.9m) from an earthen bank (Wth 10-11.4m; ext. H 1.45-2m). A field drain and outer field bank surround the perimeter SSW-NNE, and a field bank overlies the perimeter E-S (max. ext. diam. 59.5m NW-SE).
