The National Monuments Service's description
Visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 473-2), and situated on a level landscape c. 100m S of Turrock Huose. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 24m NW-SE; 22.3m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-7m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.1-0.6m) on the straight W and N sides and by a fosse (Wth of top 6.5m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.7-1m) E-S. There is no identifiable original entrance. Just S of the monument a ditch (Wth of top 3.5m; Wth of base 1m; D 0.5m) separated by a berm (Wth 1.5m) from a second ditch (Wth of top 3.3m; Wth of base 1.5m; D 0.3m-0.6m) runs NW-SE (L c. 150m) and is a landscape feature associated with the Turrock House. Enclosure (RO044-084001-) is c. 120m to the NW.
