The National Monuments Service's description

Marked only on the 1914 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in a low-lying landscape c. 350m WNW of what was Kilteevan House. Circular overgrown area with some mature trees (diam. c. 100m) defined by a reed-filled flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.3-0.45m), which is known locally as the 'round wood'.
