The National Monuments Service's description
At the crest of the S-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Subcircular grass and rush-covered area (dims 26m E-W; 21.6m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.8-6m; int. H 0.25-0.5m; ext. H 0.7-1.25m) which has been removed E-S, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.2-5.8m; Wth of base 1.3m; D 0.3-0.4m) WSW-NW. The entrance (Wth 1.3m) is at NE, and there is a quarry on the perimeter E-SE. Raths (RO038-021----) and (RO038-018----) are c. 65m to the ENE and c. 150m to the NW respectively.
