The National Monuments Service's description

On the NE-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.8m N-S; 36.4m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with some bushes (Wth 4.9-6m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 1.5-1.7m), which is best preserved (Wth 10.8m; int. H 1.05m; ext. H 2.05m) SSE-SW where it might be augmented with spoil from a quarry at SE, but the perimeter is reduced to a scarp (H 1m) NE-ESE. There is a complete outer fosse (Wth of top 6-6.4m; Wth of base 1.7-3.5m; D 0.1-0.5m), which is most massive (Wth of top 9.7m; D 1.4m) SSE-SW, but there is no identifiable original entrance. Raths (RO038-018----) and (RO038-017----) are c. 200m to the SE and c. 140m to the SW respectively.
