The National Monuments Service's description

On a N-facing slope. A roadway defined by earthen banks on either side extends N from rath (RO035-014001-) on aerial photograph (CUCAP: AJQ 99) (L c. 230m). A short stretch (L c. 20m) of this survives c. 50m N of the rath as a carriageway (Wth 3m) defined by a field bank at W and an earthen bank (Wth 0.7m; H 0.3m) at E. North of the NE-SW Strokestown to Four Mile House road (R368) the ancient road continues until it reaches the low-lying ground of a SW-NE valley.
