The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle N-facing slope of the ENE-WSW Slieve Dart ridge, just S of an E-W road bank and c. 40m W of a cottage built by the Congested Districts Board in the late 19th or early 20th century. Circular drystone-built and fire-cracked but roofless structure (int. diam. 0.8m; H 0.6m) with a damaged entrance (Wth 0.2m; H 0.4m) at NE.
