The National Monuments Service's description

This platform (Wth 3.8m; T 0.4m) was visible in a drain face, 0.26m below the field surface. It was orientated E-W and composed of moderately well preserved, transversely laid roundwood underlain by longitudinally and transversely laid roundwood and brushwood. The elements were moderately dense and laid up to 0.21m apart. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.10 to 0.15m and from 0.025 to 0.03m in diameter, respectively. The underlying peat was composed of moderately humified Sphagnum-rich peat with occasional Eriophorum and Calluna inclusions. The platform (RO030-028----) is c. 20m to the NE.
