The National Monuments Service's description

On the W-facing slope of Slieve Bawn with a small E-W stream immediately to the S. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 28m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a round-topped earthen bank (Wth 3.2-3.3m; int. H 0.4-0.8m; ext. H 0.9m) and hedge NNW-E-SW, which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.1m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and there is a silage pit immediately to the W. The inland promontory fort (RO029-125----) is c. 120m to the W on the S side of the stream, and rath (RO029-111----) is c. 170m to the NE.
