The National Monuments Service's description
On the floor of an E-W valley at the N foot of the WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. At the W end a berm (Wth 4-7m) defined by scarps (H 0.4-0.8m) runs E-W (L c. 600m) and runs just S of a farmyard built since 1930 (OS 6-inch map) before turning briefly NE and then running parallel with a modern WNW-ESE access road (L c. 200m) on its S side. Its next section to the E is largely missing (L c. 400m) but it re-appears on the E side of the Roscommon - Tulsk road (N 61) as a WNW-ESE field bank alternating with the drystone wall and townland boundary between the townlands of Lisacurkia and Ballybrogan on the N and Carrwokeel and Carrowrinny on the S (L c. 1km). It terminates at the E in what might be a turlough in Corker townland. Its W end may connect with the N end of road (RO028-062001-) and if it was continued NW for c. 1km it would have connected with the destroyed roadway (RO028-008001-).
