The National Monuments Service's description
On the S end of the crest of a NW-SE ridge in mixed woodland. Circular grass and tree-covered area (diam. 26.2m N-S; 25.4m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3m) NNW-NNE and a low scarp (H 0.5m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable entrance. A trench excavated (98E0515) through the interior (Connolly 2000) failed to recover any evidence of activity earlier than the 18th century.
