On a gentle S-facing slope of a plateau. Circular grass-covered (int. diam. 34.1m N-S; 33.5m E-W) defined by a rebuilt wall (Wth 1.8-2.2m; int. H 1-1.3m; ext. H 1.2-1.9m) on the line of the cashel wall, the outer face of which survives (H 1.3m) N-E, and inner and outer facing stones can be seen at the base of the wall all around.
