The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in Cloonshannagh bog, c. 30m SE of platform (RO024-037----), c. 35m NE of platform (RO024-039----), c. 20m SW of platform (RO024-045----), and c. 16m N of platform (RO024-058----). This platform (Wth 0.5m; T 0.12m) was exposed in the drain face, 0.15m below the field surface. It was orientated E-W and was composed of two moderately preserved roundwood elements and one brushwood laid longitudinally. The elements were densely laid 0.07 to 0.29m apart. The roundwood ranged from 0.08 to 0.12m in diameter while the brushwood measured 0.04m in diameter. The underlying peat was composed of well humified Sphagnum-rich peat with moderate Eriophorum inclusions.
