This site was located approximately 7m N of platform (RO024-028----), and was visible on the field surface and in the drain face. The platform (Wth 2.8m; T 0.3m) was orientated N-S and was composed of poor to moderately preserved longitudinally laid roundwood underlain by transversely laid roundwood and brushwood laid up to four elements deep. The elements were laid 0.01 to 0.32m apart. The roundwood and brushwood ranged from 0.06 to 0.14m and from 0.01 to 0.05m in diameter, respectively. The peat was composed of poorly humified Sphagnum-rich peat with frequent Eriophorum and Calluna inclusions.
