The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the top of a steep NW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 30m N-S; 26.7m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.3-4.5m; int. H 0.4m generally to 0.9m at E; ext. H 1.1-1.5m) which is reduced to a scarp (H 1.2m) SW-NW, and a complete fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5.7m; Wth of base 2.3-3.4m; D 0.5-0.7m). There is no identifiable original entrance, and the fosse (Wth of top 3.8m; Wth of base 1.9m; D to W 0.1m; D to E 1.2m) alone separates it from rath (RO023-014001-) which is immediately to the W. A field wall circumscribes the N perimeter of both monuments.
