The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle W-facing slope S and W of the Dominican priory of Tulsk (RO022-114002-), bordering a S-N section of Ogulla stream at W. An area of c. 6 ha (c. 15 acres) has some rectangular fields (dims c. 30m x 50m to c. 50m x c. 100m) defined by earthen banks (Wth c. 3m; H 0.2m). A mill-race (Wth c. 2m) (RO022-113003-) which is partly stone-lined runs parallel with Ogulla stream (L c. 150m) and rejoins it c. 50m E of the point where the stream turns NE. Running S from the graveyard (RO022-114008-) is a fragment of a relict road (RO022-113002-) (Wth c. 10m; L c. 100m). An aerial photograph (CUCAP: AVH 96) shows this road extending further S (L c. 200m) but curving to the E until it meets the S-N Roscommon - Tulsk road (N61), but the road is continued N towards rath (RO022-114003-) by the relict road (RO022-114010-). This portion does not survive. Just S of the graveyard the road was crossed by an E-W relict road (RO022-113004-) (L c. 370m), visible on aerial photograph (CUCAP: AVH 96), but this is barely traceable as a slight depression (Wth c. 15m).
