Visible on aerial photograph (OS: 4/2050), and situated on a slight E-W rise on the floor of a valley with a small W-E stream c. 10m to the N. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 22.5m N-S; 20.3m E-W) sloping down to the N (H of slope 1.6m) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.5-0.7m) SE-W and a scarp (H 0.4m at W to 1.6m at N) elsewhere, with a fosse (Wth 2-3m) visible as a band of reeds NW-SSE. The entrance (Wth2.8m) is at S, and the perimeter is damaged by an old quarry W-N. Rath (RO022-066002-) is 14m to the SE.
