The National Monuments Service's description
Marked on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and described in gothic lettering on both as Toberkeagh. It is situated towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. There is no trace of a well here, and it is thought to be a mistaken location of the well (RO022-057053-) which is c. 100m to the NE.
This is a National Monument in state ownership: No. 294.
