The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight N-S ridge on the S-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 33m N-S; 30.2m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.4m at N to 1.2m at W), with slight traces of a bank (int. H 0.2m) on the perimeter at SE and SW. The entrance (Wth 2.3m) is at SE. The road (RO022-057052-) approaches from the E and turns S just at the monument. Described as a ring-barrow (Herity 1988, 73). Rath (RO022-057064-) is c. 240m to the SSW. (Knox, 1914a, 32-3; Herity 1983, 131, Glenballythomas 13; Waddell 1983, 41, No 45)
