The National Monuments Service's description
There is an ogham inscription on a lintel at the inner edge of the present entrance passage to the souterrain (RO022-057029-), known as Oweynagat ('the cave of the cats'), which is part of the larger complex of monuments at Rathcroghan. It reads VRAICCI MAQI MEDVVI, meaning 'Fraich, son of Medb'. A second ogham stone (RO022-057084-) is in the same souterrain.
