The National Monuments Service's description

On the S-facing slope of Rathcroghan plateau. Described as a mound (diam. c. 20m) with the entrance to souterrain (RO022-057029-) in the interior (Ferguson 1872, 117). It is not visible at ground level, and a NW-SE lane lies just N of the souterrain entrance. Ring-barrow (RO022-057025-) is c. 120m to the NW. Geophysical survey recorded anomalies around the entrance to the souterrain suggesting a circular area (diam. c. 17m), but no evidence of an enclosing bank or fosse, or of any internal structures was recorded. (Waddell et al. 2009, 79-89)
