The National Monuments Service's description
On a shelf on the N-facing slope of Rathcroghan ridge. Described as 'Courtmoyle' on the 1837 and 1914 eds of the OS 6-inch map, but correctly as 'Toberrory Fort' on other eds. Circular grass-covered platform (diam. 28.6m E-W; 28m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.6m at S to 1.1m at N), with no visible fosse or entrance. The perimeter is damaged by quarrying SSE-W. 12m to the N is a globular black stone (dims 0.55m x 0.45m x 0.75m) and Toberrorty well (RO022-056027-) is c. 20m to the N. Rectangular enclosure (RO022-056026-) is c. 100m to the N and rath (RO022-056030-) is c. 160m to the E.
