The National Monuments Service's description

Visible on aerial photographs (ACAP: V206/31, 30) and situated on a low WNW-ESE ridge An area of c. 2 ha contains lines of pits (dims c. 10m x c. 2m) aligned NW-ESE with the pits placed c. 20-30m apart. The land is now largely reclaimed an few pits are visible on the ground, although some can be seen in an area of c. 2 ha (c. 4 acres).
